As the world's leading provider of digital identity and security solutions, Eastcompeace recently announced that the eSIM Remote SIM Provisioning (RSP) system and Entitlement Server (ES) customized and developed for U Mobile, a full-fledged telco in Malaysia and the country’s newest 5G network provider, have been successfully launched to enable remote eSIM activation and support MultiSIM services for its customers. The deployment commenced in February 2025 with the implementation of the RSP system. This was followed by the rollout of the ES services, which were fully completed in December 2025.
The RSP platform allows U Mobile to remotely download, activate and manage eSIM profiles digitally with improved cost efficiencies. It provides a secure and scalable framework to manage eSIM services across both consumer (RSP-C) and IoT (RSP-M) environments in compliance with GSMA standards and major device vendor requirements.
Complementing the RSP is Entitlement Server (ES) which manages service configuration across devices and supports MultiSIM functionality through seamless integration with U Mobile’s core network components, allowing customers to use the same mobile number across smartphones, smartwatches and tablets. The ES also enables QR-less, seamless wearable provisioning and secure eSIM profile transfer between compatible devices, enhancing the overall digital activation experience.
The collaboration between Eastcompeace and U Mobile aimed to enhance U Mobile’s existing eSIM infrastructure to support growing eSIM adoption and multi-device services. The initiative focused on strengthening system scalability, standardization and service consistency as eSIM usage continues to expand across the market. Since project initiation, both teams have worked closely to ensure smooth integration with U Mobile’s network and operational environment. Eastcompeace's solutions feature a forward-looking design engineered to adapt with future technological developments. It facilitates rapid deployment, helps operators seize market opportunities and achieves seamless integration with existing networks. The system provides high compatibility and reliability that is backed by a strong portfolio of successful market-verified use cases.
The successful collaboration between Eastcompeace and U Mobile in the field of eSIM demonstrates their shared commitment to innovation and the development of a future-ready digital ecosystem to advance the development of Malaysia’s digital connectivity landscape.
